We are preparing for launch. These paid-service conditions will apply when subscriptions become available.
1. The service
Shotvero is a browser extension operated by IMAKAI Inc. for screenshot capture, editing, on-device text recognition, sharing, and related features. These terms apply to use of the service. A paid Pro plan will be available after launch alongside Free. A paid subscription is requested by reviewing the displayed conditions and completing checkout.
2. Requirements and limits
The initial release supports compatible desktop Chrome and Edge environments. Browser, OS, website changes, protected content, and network restrictions can affect availability. We do not guarantee capture of every website, video, or game. Standalone Windows or Mac apps, continuous recording, and cloud file storage are not part of the current plan.
3. Accounts
Paid features require login using an email address you can access. Keep login codes and session credentials private. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before purchasing a subscription.
4. Prices and renewal
Pro costs JPY600 monthly or JPY6,000 annually in yen, or US$5 monthly or US$50 annually in US dollars, inclusive of applicable service taxes. Select your currency and billing period before checkout. You pay in advance for the selected period; the subscription renews for the same period unless you stop renewal. The annual plan is a JPY6,000 or US$50 single annual payment in your selected currency, not monthly installments. The checkout and billing portal display the final amount and billing dates. Future price changes will be announced before they apply and will not retroactively change a paid period.
5. Delivery and cancellation
After sales begin, Pro is activated when payment and subscription status are confirmed. If activation is delayed, refresh your subscription status or contact support. You can stop the next renewal in the billing portal and continue through the paid period. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. See our cancellation and refund policy for details.
6. Content and acceptable use
Your content remains yours or belongs to its rightful owner; we do not take ownership of your images. You must have the rights and consent needed to capture, record, and share it. Do not infringe copyright or privacy, share unlawful content, access systems without authorization, bypass protection mechanisms, overload the service, or harass others. Respect third-party platform terms.
7. AI and P2P limitations
Text recognition and detection may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review your image before sharing. P2P sharing requires both parties to remain online; closing the sender page can interrupt a transfer. You cannot revoke a file already saved by a recipient. Keep your own copies of important files.
8. Changes, interruptions, and responsibility
We may modify, restrict, or suspend the service as needed for maintenance, abuse prevention, or incident response, giving prior notice when reasonably possible. We do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law. Remedies for a service that does not conform to the contract follow the refund policy and applicable law.
